After moving from my first Omnitronic monitors to the ROKIT 8 G3, it felt like the studio had taken a massive step forward. I have used the ROKIT 8 G3 since 2019. Before that I worked with Omnitronic studio speakers, and the KRKs were simply a completely different level for me. It was one of those upgrades you notice immediately in everyday work.Ich nutze die ROKIT 8 G3 seit 2019. Why I love the bassWarum ich den Bass liebe
The low end is one of the main reasons I still love these monitors. It is deep and powerful, but in my room and setup it does not simply boom — it pushes. That character works extremely well for my cinematic, emotional and darker beats, especially when 808s and deep bass lines are important.Der Tieftonbereich ist einer der Hauptgründe, warum ich diese Monitore bis heute liebe. Der Bass geht tief und ist kräftig, dröhnt in meinem Raum und Setup aber nicht einfach nur – er drückt. Für meine cinematischen, emotionalen und tiefer angehauchten Beats passt genau dieser Charakter sehr gut, besonders wenn 808s und tiefe Basslines wichtig sind.

What I like is that the strong low end does not make the rest of the sound feel muddy to me. I still get the clarity I need above it, which is why the speakers fit my production style so well.Was mir gefällt: Trotz des kräftigen Fundaments wirkt der Rest des Sounds für mich nicht matschig. Die nötige Klarheit bleibt erhalten – und genau diese Kombination passt sehr gut zu meinem Produktionsstil.

The G3 has straightforward rear controls that let me adapt the monitors to the setup and room without any display or complicated menu system. I like that direct approach.Die G3 lässt sich über die rückseitigen Regler unkompliziert an Setup und Raum anpassen – ganz ohne Display oder Menüsystem. Diese direkte Art gefällt mir.
Heavy — in a good waySchwer – im positiven Sinn
They are genuinely heavy speakers. For a fixed studio position I actually see that as an advantage: once they are placed correctly, they stand rock solid.Die Boxen sind wirklich schwer. In einem festen Studio sehe ich das eher als Vorteil: Sind sie einmal richtig aufgestellt, stehen sie wie eine Eins.
Would I replace them?Würde ich sie ersetzen?
No. At the moment I would not trade them for something newer just because a newer generation exists. They still do exactly what I want from my main monitors.Nein. Nur weil es inzwischen neuere Generationen gibt, würde ich meine G3 aktuell nicht austauschen. Sie machen als Hauptmonitore weiterhin genau das, was ich von ihnen möchte.
