This website is hosted by STRATO. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically required access data, in particular information about the requested page or file, time of access, browser and system information as well as network and connection data. Processing serves the secure and reliable provision of the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Contact form and email inquiries

If you use the contact form, we process the information you enter (name, email address, selected topic and message) in order to respond to your inquiry. The data is transmitted via the web server to the EMOTEBEATZ mailbox info@emotebeatz.com.

For inquiries aimed at a contract or licensing arrangement, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other inquiries are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries). The information is deleted once the inquiry has been conclusively handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The form contains a technically hidden anti-spam field. No external CAPTCHA service is used.

4. BeatStars player

The official BeatStars Blaze Player is embedded directly on the home page via player.beatstars.com. When the player loads, a connection to BeatStars is established. In particular, the IP address, browser/device information, referrer information and other technically required usage data may be transmitted to BeatStars. BeatStars may also use cookies or similar technologies as part of its services.

5. YouTube and automatic release display

The website determines the latest matching EMOTEBEATZ release server-side via the YouTube Data API. The request is sent from the EMOTEBEATZ server to Google/YouTube; the API key used for this purpose is not exposed to website visitors.

When the automatically selected thumbnail is displayed, your browser may retrieve an image file from a YouTube/Google server. When you open a YouTube link, you leave emotebeatz.com and Google/YouTube privacy terms then apply.

6. Google Fonts

This website loads fonts through Google Fonts for typographic presentation. When font files are retrieved, a connection to Google servers is established and technical connection data such as the IP address may be processed.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy information.

7. External links

The website contains links to external platforms, in particular YouTube, BeatStars, Instagram and Facebook. The external website is only accessed when you open such a link. The respective provider is responsible for the processing that takes place there.

8. Cookies and local storage

EMOTEBEATZ uses a small first-party, server-side access statistic without analytics or advertising cookies. No analytics identifier is stored in the browser. To distinguish a page reload from a new visit, the server creates a short-lived pseudonymous technical hash from connection/browser data already transmitted with the request; the raw IP address is not written to the EMOTEBEATZ analytics data. A new visit is counted after 30 minutes of inactivity. The statistic stores page paths, visit counts and the referrer host/category and no analytics data is sent to third-party analytics providers. STRATO server logs remain subject to section 2. Embedded services such as the BeatStars player may use their own cookies or comparable technologies.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights including access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to certain processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

10. Affiliate links and advertising

Where links on EMOTEBEATZ are explicitly marked as affiliate links or advertising, a purchase through that link may generate a commission for EMOTEBEATZ without increasing the price for the visitor. The linked shop or provider is responsible for any data processing after the external link is opened.

This privacy notice will be updated if website functions, embedded services or legal requirements change.
